Wine Appreciation – The Wine Appreciation Newcomer Special Interest Group meets once a month (the 3rd or 4th Wednesday) at a member’s home to sample a measured 1.4 ounce taste of various wines. The host often selects a theme or region that the wines will be selected from. Guests bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share with each other and give a brief description about the wine they brought. In essence, this a great way to socialize and learn about wine at the same time! Participants are always reminded to plan ahead for a safe ride or walk home.

Please email Linda Watson at if you are interested in joining this group. Also please email Linda if you have moved on to the “Alumni” and/or wish to be removed from the email invite list.

Wine Social –  Contact coordinators Sonya and Ken Bardati at or 250-744-0052 to get your name on the group email list.
